Bought this lighter with box but it does have an issue with wick...there is none. Strike wheel turns, sparks the new flint in it, evything else looks fine, i.e.graphics clear and ledgeable How does one replace the wick with
out doing damage to the lighter. On the base it is identified as a 'Rolex'-
'super automatic deluxe made in Japan'. Any idea of it's age or value would be appreciated. Thank you.

I rehabbed an old lighter a few years ago, and as I remember it the screw(s) on the underside opened up the fluid chamber. Once open, there should be a sponge you can remove and then access the wick from there...hope that helps!
