Megaphone is 30" long with a 14" opening; metal rim frame and steel mouthpiece; lovely, painted art deco design work.

Canoe cups date between 1920-1940's; carved from burl wood, such pieces were originally used by Voyageurs of 'fur trade' fame for taking a quick drink of lake water to quench thirst as they paddled hour after hour across the N. American continent. The toggles were tucked under their belts so that these cups were always within easy reach.

thank you bushrat. i've seen the cups before, but never really knew what they were for. not too many places left where you could actually use them!
