this clock was given to me by my wifes grandmother. i promised not to get rid of it. up til about two years ago it worked fine including the chime, it chimed each time for the hour ie...if it was 3 then it chimed 3 times. one chime for each hour. i have not tried to adjust the inside of it, but it does have a few gremblins, the chimes are ot correct, but it still kept time. i am interested in the time frame, when it was built. i would also like to find out more history on this type of clock any help would be greatly appreciated

I also have a seth thomas mantel clock that was given to me by my mother who got it from my great grandmother, its probaley 150 years old. i'm wondering what the value is? thank you
