This is kind of precious to me.
I picked it up at a thrift shop a few years ago tucked into the back of a frame containing another Hamlin birth and death register.
This one's smaller, and in poorer condition, but still intact and easy to read.
I was wondering if these Hamlins were relatives of Vice President Hannibal Hamlin, also from Maine.
I think that he lived in the same town, or very close to.
It's a wonderful peice, that probably belongs at the Maine Historical Society.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Hello ARJason,
Waterford is fairly close to Paris, So Paris Maine. I've been to the So.Paris homestead. I'll check the information on the back of the frame to see if there's a written connection.
Thanks for your comment, it gets the wheels turning.
Yes it's a beautiful view from up there.
I spent a lot of time in the area and used to take little sightseeing trips.
It's been years since I was there, but memories of the area are quite fond.
I'll try the "find a grave" site and let you know if I have any luck.
Thanks again,
T
