What a great find!!!! Please keep posting pics of what you dig out of there. I had several pics of an old dump I found, but I was afraid they would delete it.
thank you all for the words and loves
Love it ! Did you have all your shots though like tetanus ?????? Waiting for more photo's . Be careful for moving things like snakes too ! :-) Great photo

Snake pics would also be cool! You don't have poisonous ones up there do you ?
It may be a dump to you but I see a treasure trove. Wonderful find and thanks for sharing.

No you don't have poisonous snakes or no to snake pics?
no to both hedge
Looks like you found a rare dump, that was not used as a shooting gallery by kids with .22s. ...Bottles were good but white porcelain covered items like washing machines were the best because you could see the hits from so far away.
stonesfan1:It has been many years since I have visited a "dump".Back in the early 1940s when I helped my Dad haul stuff to the dump my Mom always said we brought more home than we took.My only two wheel bike came from the dump rode it for several years. The guy who ran the dump always got the best pickins-he had the "stuff" leaning against the shack. The town I lived in had two city dumps so we would alternate-always took my pellet gun along-plenty of rats running around-our two dumps were located right next to the river.
Hey digging through that would be great fun!!
way better than metal-detecting! u KNOW your going to get a "hit" here. But Jasons right, if this were in Okla. , the summer heat would melt the fun right out of it. Its no cooler here than in Texas.
stonesfan1,
Are you going to screen it for coins, buttons and other small objects? I used to make my own screens, found lots of items I probably would have missed otherwise.
That Looks Like So Much Fun! I would love to be there digging with you! Wish I could find an old dump around here I could dig.
I used to dig in the city, near a ravine, behind the nutty club factory for bottles and had a good thing going for several weeks before I had some competition, loved digging !~
