    These were also WW II souviners brought back by my uncle. Pics 1 & 2 are of a Japanese 100 Mon used 1835 - 1890. The next 2 pics are of a medal to be worn on a chain. I have not been able to obtain any info on it. Metal appears to be aluminum and was struck not cast. All wording appears to be Japanese or Chinese. It is in very good cond and was with items given to my mother by my uncle. I hope the inscriptions show on these, if not I will try and replace pics with better ones. Enjoy

      No AR8 it is Japanese found pic just like it used between 1835-1890 But I think the other is Chinese

      You are correct picking... The Japanese mon coins are listed in the Standard Catalog of World Coins 19th Century edition. The Japanese also had small round coins that look just like the Chinese cash coins at first glance. The inscriptions need to be read to tell the difference. Some of the Japanese versions aso have some design differences like wavy lines on the reverses.
