This view is by Underwood and shows and 1899 scene of soldiers fighting from a trenchline.
These men can be identified as cavalry by their Krag carbines. If you look closely, you can see the saddle ring clearly visible.
With some effort the specific unit involved in this engagement could probably be identified.
