This stereoview shows a group of "regulars" at a makeshift mess on a dock prior to shipping to Cuba.
The view is published by Jarvis and dates from 1898.
I like the mess tins, mess trays, bucket and serving items that are visible. Also several of the soldiers have a mess kit/ cup in their hands.
There is also a canteen near the front.
I really like these casual pose images with various equipment.
