Packard Bell Cart TV, was purchased in Orange County, California by my Grandmother. This beautiful TV was handed down thru three generations, I being the third. It is Packard Bell, Model 23DC20 COL, 4273 254324, Made in Los Angeles, Cal. We have been trying to do research on it for a long time, however we can never find anything on it. I know it is very rare, and I just adore it. I wish I could find someone who could tell me a little more about it as well as it's value.

Thank you for the link Geekkarma... I loved reading about the 25", that is a later model tv, and is in Color... mine is b/w and is just 23". However I love reading about all the PB Tea Cart TV's they facinate me. The one I have is so pretty anywhere you want to put it, I have used it for decore in just about every room of my house. Thank you again for the info. that was a fun read.

I have the same model chassis, in other words the inside guts are the same. Only difference is mine is a danish modern cabinet. I am only the second owner and like you I have not found an identical cabinet! The good news is Your Packard Bell set will run forever. These are very good sets! If you run the set constantly I would advise getting the capacitors and resistors replaced. After 40-50 years they tend to lose tolerance and can cause damage to other components in your set if left untended.

There is no 'book' value on old TV's It's really only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I will admit yours may be one of only a few examples reaming but the market for old TV's is very small and from what I have seen only early TV's from the 1940's fetch high prices. I Would not sell it, keep it, enjoy it, you will not find another like it.
