MOST DEALERS AND COLLECTORS ARE NOT AWARE THESE "VICTORIAN" SHADES ARE REALLY CZECH "JUGENDSTIL", AS ART NOUVEAU WAS CALLED IN GERMANY. THIS ONE IS 5" TALL, WITH 2.5" FITTER AND HAS AN INNER CORE OF 5 PETALS IN HOT PINK, AND AN OUTER RIM WITH 8 PETALS IN FROSTED GLASS.
KRALIK SHADES ARE COPIOUSLY DOCUMENTED IN THE WEST VIRGINIA MUSEUM HOSCH CATALOG AND IN WALTRAUD NEWIRTH'S MASSIVE TWO VOLUME STUDY OF THE FLORAL MOTIF IN ART NOUVEAU. THEY ALSO APPEAR TOGETHER WITH PALLME KOENIG SHADES IN THE WILLIAMSON COMPANY'S "TEPLITZ SHADES" SECTION OF THEIR CATALOGS.

Kralik was the premiere Czech glasshouse of its period, but Loetz got all the attention and reputation because its designs survived, while Kralik's did not. Id say if it's pink and has applied petals it is Kralik, whether vases or shades. Look at the West Virginia Museum of American glass monograph 59.
