On the hour the cuckoo and gong count the hour.
Afterwards the song "Blaue Donau Walzer" plays while the dancers dance around the balcony.
On the half hour the cuckoo and gong sound once.

This clock was manufactured by the Albert Schwab Karlsruhe clock factory in West-Germany. It has a one-day, REGULA, solid brass movement. It has a solid wood casing.
The music box is Swiss made by Cuendet.
It still has its original chains and pinecone weights.
Clock itself measures: 11" high (excluding the hanging pendulum) x 9-1/8" wide x 6-5/16" deep.
This clock dates back to about mid 1970's and was purchased in an upscale clock shop in the Houston Galleria. It works.
