Dont know the orogins of this particular bottle. Im thinking a soda bottle but not sure there is no markings on the bottle to say what it is. maybe some one can help to identify it. My boss and I dug this bottle out of the ground while excavating for a bridge abutment and wing today (3-22-2012). The pics of the bottom of the bottle is the only stamping on the bottle. Not real sure of the year. Again can anyone help to date and maybe give an approxamate value of this bottle.

thank you that helps to understand the year. i agree with the soda. when i found it it had been underground about 20 feet from the base of a bridge abutment (the bridges end wing wall. for retention of the roadway dirt.). the only other bottle i found on here that resembles the one i have was from a local soda company based here in knoxville tn called double cola.
Sorry, the '3' to the left side of the logo is not a dating code, but the one on the right is. So 1947 is accurate, but March is not. The first code number indicates the Owens plant where the bottle was made. In this case, 3, means Fairmount, WV.
