My wife and I have been collecting for many years. I joined the National Fishing Lure Collector Club 1n 1994 and it has really been a great enjoyment for two old retired people. We have meet so many nice people the world over and made lots of friends It was on a trip from a fishing lure show in Osage Beach Missouria we decided to start collecting Bombers. Since we lived just 40 miles from the plant there seemed to be a lot of lures stored in attics and garages by people who worked at the factory. As we talked on our way back home from the show we asked each other where can you buy a wood lure in a two peice card board box forty or fifty years old for $5.00 and thats when the Bomber collection started. Of course our only Grandson Joshua Layne Snow also suggested. Gran - Gran you ought to start collecting Bombers. Since he is our only Grandson he was looking into the future. He is a member of the NFLCC and has a large collection also. I appreciate the oppertunity to share a portion of the collection.

If any one is interested in collecting fishing lures I would recommend looking into The National Fishing Lure Collector Club [NFLCC]. We have been helped by so many good people.Without it our collecting would not have been as much fun.It is a real joy when you find a lure that is something special or uncatalogued. First thing you want to do is show it off. Have found many, many lure om E-Bay.
This is a great way to share.
Thanks,
bigon
I am always ready to share my thoughts with any one who is intereste in starting a collection of fishing lures. It's a lot of fun and very interesting to study the many companies who have mad fishing lures since the 1800's.
Good luck,

o man what i would catch with those
Thats an awesome Bomber collection. I started a collection for my Grandsons. Its no where near this nice, but the Grandkids really enjoy it. We are trying to get at least one of each color in the old wood Bombers. We have a little over 60 different colors now, its getting down to the tough, harder to find colors now. I still haven't been able to find a color # 23 Blue scale. Thanks, John
I also have a large collection of 61 Heddon SOS's, 551 River Runt Spooks and 59 CCBC Injured Ninnows. I am 82 years old in good health for an old man and still enjoy looking for some tough lures that will fit in our collections. All I can say is enjoy your collections, help a young person when you can and go fishing every chance you can. Was told many years ago by an old fellow that the world was made up of 3/4 water and we should spend 3/4 of our time fishing because all the time we spend fishing is not counted against us. Thanks Layne [bigon]
