Very Cute Lundy . He is newer maybe ranging from late 70's into 90's . His face and hands are called China . China is glazed porcelain vs a flat finish . There are people who collect Jesters but his value would not be to high . These were produced as novelty items and not dolls to play with . Nice find ! Thanks for sharing him :-)
thank you manikin
Hey, he must be modeled after me during my early school days. I was always the class clown!...late 70's into the 90's would be far too recent though so perhaps not... :)
LOL Bruce , will keep out eyes open for a photo of you in HS with that hat on :-)
cool man
I'd say 1980s-90s, not '70s. That type of foil fabric has been available in the toy and novelty market since then but not earlier.
This should be 80's. My daughter collected clowns and this looks similar to one she owned. Cute.
thank you ,bruce99 stef and mammi
Hi lundy
I think that your clown doll is real cool, I have been collecting clowns for my baby girl, mainly circus clowns. I have 3 which I also cant Identify your welcome to have a look if you like.
Thanks
Kane.
