Pictured is a WW II German postcard which shows a sailor wearing his dress blues, Donald Duck style cap, and wearing a mine sweeper, sub-chaser, and escort vessel war badge. There were many criteria to qualify for the badge, but the basic one was to have participated on at least three operational sorties.
