Pictured is a WW II German postcard which shows a sailor wearing his dress blues, Donald Duck style cap, and wearing a mine sweeper, sub-chaser, and escort vessel war badge. There were many criteria to qualify for the badge, but the basic one was to have participated on at least three operational sorties. Shown with the post card is an original mine sweeper, sub-chaser, and escort vessel war badge.
