This is a handmade buck knife I bought from a Native American artist/dealer in Ontario a few years ago. I got this and a pipe that was made using the antlers of a deer.
This knife is a total of 16 inches long and the blade and handle are half each 8 inches. Handle is made of antler burr carved into the shape of an Eagle. Wrapped with leather that fits my hand very well. It is really heavy, and very sharp. The sheath is made of carved wood and wrapped in deer skin , and wrapped again in leather and fringed on the sides. It also has a beaded Thunderbird and a rose (cause I'm a girl) on the front, and a leather loop for placing the sheath on a belt on back. Hope you enjoy the pics.
