This is a circa 1885 Cabinet Card image of a young boy wearing a dress, pictured next to his pet cat.
Cats are unusual in 19th century photography-- for every 100 dog image, I might find 1 cat.
The cat is alert and still with very minimal to no blur from movement.
Photographed by Cal Keck out of Youngstown, Ohio.
Reproduction of this photograph in any form is not authorized.
