I acquired these at an auction. I think they are from Bella Italia but I can't be for sure! they are all different sizes and all brushed in 24 carat gold. I can't find any history on anything close to this at all! I was hoping that someone could give me some insight or knowledge on where to go to get information on these so i can "brush up" on my knowledge of these elephants! I know that they were rescued from an estate sale at a mansion in Gatlinburg TN. The person who lived there had some exquisite pieces but these elephants came into view and I told my hubby (and my pickin' buddy), "Baby I gotta have those" and he said "Why"? I said "Don't know but you better get them for me cuz I gotta have em!" Any information one might have to expand my knowledge or to lead me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

If you Google "Bella Italia elephant" you will find an 11" elephant just like yours at auction for $50. It doesn't give any history, but at least confirms that yours is Bella Italia. Sorry I don't have any other info. They are quite a herd!
