Can anyone help on a value for this? Want to add to my insurance.

I have had this for decades. I have only found repoductions and one that was made in the early 1900'2. This beauty has a small chip on the spout where you can see the material it is made of is like a red clay. It has no other damage and no wear! I doubt it was ever used more than once or twice if that. Hand painted flowers over gold 'transfer'? Is this called transfer ware?
    Metal lid.
The bottom is copper over a cotton pad possibly. Stamped Patented Dec. 24, 1895.
Under the handle it is marked in a football shape:
    No 36
    Alexandra Pottery
    Manning Bowman
    Burslem, England

oops I clicked submit to fast :-) The clay body of the pot and applied decoration was made by H.J. Woods at the Alexandra Pottery in Burslem, England and then sent over to Manning Bowman in Connecticut who produced and added the copper bottom and nickle top.

I have this exact same teapot, identical in everyway. I was wondering what you were able to discover about it, value etc.
