Wills Scott Shadburne 1923-1953 WWII veteran. Cartoonist/Illustrator for the Springfield (MO) News-Leader. Scott did mainly political cartoons of the time. He has five drawings in the book Truman in cartoon and caricature. I was lucky when I found these (and about 192 more) at a local flea mkt. I can't find out what years he was at the Springfield News-Leader, or really anything else about him on the net. He started signing the name Shad. in later years. Any further info on Scott would be appreciated.

So your orignial Pen & Inks obviously got to Texas with his daughter Marsha Chicules. Then from Saginaw to thh Cattlemen's barn flea market in Fort Worth.
I had all the families obituary info from Google. I was looking for info from when Scott worked at the newspaper, thanks.
Scott sent his artwork to various relatives in TX over the years. They ended up at an estate sale, then to the Cattle Barn Flea Mkt.
