These are just way to common to even have much of a story.. This one which is located in our formal "collective" room was passed down to my wife from her grandparents. Just a minute.. we thinks it's ringing.. was that two shorts and a long..... or was that to longs and a short?? Every line was a party line.... Did you ever notice that when a picture of a phone like this is taken, it looks like two eyes and a big nose... :-) Jimmy Durante?

I wish I had one now. The age of the cell phone is pretty darn intrusive, yet so convenient. I like the old days when you got home, got your messages, got bidness done and very little phone!! This is beautiful, thank you, Mich

The wall telephone looks to be manufactured By Kellogg Switchboard & Supply around 1929. Getting close to the last of the manufactured wooden wall phones. Stromberg-Carlson stopped around 1932 and Western Electric around 1938.
