Today I would like to share several unused 1937 steamship items from the Red Star Line. There are several baggage stickers, baggage tags, and stateroom stickers. As you can see from the enclosed letter, this voyage was on the steamship “Pennland”.

History: Liner sold to Arnold Bernstein's Red Star Line GmBH 1935. Converted to tourist class ship with 538 passengers. Resold to Holland America 1939. Bombed and sunk by German aircraft in Gulf of Athens, April 25, 1941, while evacuating British soldiers.
