I purchased the American Foursquare house in 1995. I just love how simple and relaxing the house is. In the first picture you can see I've added the canvas awnings and the wrought fence in the front and the landscape trying to keep it in the period it was built. The house was built in the 1920's. In the second picture I'm looking out the back porch at the two garages and all the landscaping that I've done. I love to landscape! It's a labor of love! In the third picture looking down the alley to the front of house and main street. The forth is just another angle of the front of the house. This house has been a blast filling it with antiques and collectibles. I love living in town and keeping the house up just like back in the day when it was built.

That is very similiar looking to my grandmothers house. The plans for her house were purchased from Sears, and was built sometime right after the turn of the century.

Does your gas pump work? Can you fill it up to take the edge off the rising gas prices?

Thank you Perry and thank your wife for that great compliment! It took me about five years landscaping, but it was all worth it. My brother and some friends help me build the big garage and last year I paid a guy to make the carriage garage bigger. Things have all come to together after many years. The back yard was on the garden tour last year and all the proceeds went to the animals. It truley is a labor of love. Again thank you for the kind words! :-)

I just want a second garage!
House is beautiful..the off set garage really gives it the perfect foursquare feel.
In my old neighborhood there were a lot with side entering garages...I always admired that view. Having both is gives it that slight unique look.

As an artist I'm always always on the hunt for "pefection" i.e. the "Golden Section or Ratio" and the perfect "composition" etc. etc. ....you HAVE achieved perfection here!
