Hi everyone, I have a small collection of watches, modern and vintage, I picked up this vintage "Pierpont" Swiss watch last week in a junk shop for $4.00. These pictures were taken during the clean up as it was filthy and very tarnished. It works but is sluggish. Does anyone the best way to lubricate it. I'm not sure if this is gold or gold plated and exactly how old it is? it has a serial number and then 7c?. I am giving the watch to my wife as she's fallen in love with it :(
