This is my Gekko Kamen (a.k.a Moonlight mask) battery operated tin from the manufacturer Bullmark.
It was both a live action show and a cartoon. TV debut in 1958 and revisited in the 70's, when Gekko went through a redesign.
Created by writer K. Kawauchi, Moonlight Mask is best described as Japan's answer to The Lone Ranger and Batman.
This tin stands about 13 inches tall and was made in 1974.
Trivia: Gekko Kamen actually set the standard as Japan's first live-action TV superhero.
I purchased this from a dealer in Japan after selling one I had previously. I regretted the sale, and wanted to find my friend again. Part of my ever growing Japanese character tin/robot collection.
