Imaging from my collection of 50's & 60's esoterica. This may have been a Life cover or Life Magazine concept. I am not sure. I thought collectors might enjoy this! Finding a category for this item wasn't easy. I was looking for "vinyl-idols", but no luck!

Makes one wonder where all those dolls ended up.

What a great photo ! Love it . Lots of those dolls/bottles are still be found ,maybe not the ones she swam with but this was a ingenious shot to promote Jane . Love it
Jayne mansfield hot water bottles . Filled with hot water you took to bed with you to keep warm ,The black hat is screw off lid and bottle is rather large about 21-22 inches long circa 1957 . There is a few other shots of her in the pool with the bottle dolls that one can find . Love photo and the hot water bottle :-)
