This is a restore I did of a rubber 21 inch store counter display mannequin , She is unusual as she has feet . There is a rod up her leg and feet are screwed into base . I never saw one with feet . I wonder what she modeled toenail polish ? Most have molded shoes on their feet so she is different and one not seen by me before ,her arms are connected with a metal armature . She has a bit of a manly look about her but I can tell by chest she is female . These minature mannequins were common during WWII when material was scare . I believe she was made a bit later into 50's as she is a soft rubber and during WWII rubber was not available for making them . She is not a doll she is an advertising piece , but with no catagory I will put her under dolls for now until we get a spot for them on CW .
