This is a complete set of Tour de France post cards from the 1948 Tour. These were the official cards put out by the race organizer. 1948 was the second Tour after WWII. Winner was the Italian Gino Bartali.
There is one card for each stage of the Tour. As you can see in the first picture the cards can be connected to make out the route around France. Each card was mailed (canceled) from the departing city for that days stage. I have seen individual cards for sale but never the whole set. I found them at the bottom of a box at a flee market stall in Paris.
Just wanted to share and would love to see other years if people have them or anything else bicycle racing related.
