Today was a good day for picking and thermometers. I found these seven old thermometers north of New Castle, Indiana. They are some you don't see everyday. The first one is a Sealed Power Piston Rings "1948". The second is a porcelain Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco "1937" Beach, Cochocton, Ohio. The third is a Bowes Brake Fluid A.J.Foyt "1960". The forth is a Wanda Products Oils,Greases, Specialties "1952". Cato Oil & Grease Co. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The fifth is a Royal Crown Cola "1950's". The sixth is Shaler...Rislone...The Oil Alloy. The seventh is a Drink Barq's It's Good "1950's". All the thermometers work. There are still alot of nice old collectibles in Indiana to be found. I was lucky enough to be at the right spot at the right time and the man was willing to part with some of his collection. He said he was spending the money on his 1969 Roadrunner. He was happy and so was I when I walked away. Just another great day of picking.
