Hello All,
I bought this sleek beaker this afternoon after a courtship of 8 or so weeks.
It's approximately 8 1/2 inches high, a beautiful amethyst color.
It's unmarked, but I think it may be Scandinavian.
Could I be correct?
Thanks,
Tony.

Hi Budek! Apologies I mistook the picture of the cat for Amy's pix. Senior's moment!
A lovely KARTIO jug by Kaj Franck! :) This is from the original series handblown in the 50s/60s for Nuutajärvi Notsjö. The ones they are making now at Iittala are very simmilar in design but there is no way to misstake them for one of the originals. Congratulations!
Thank You Austro!
Kevin said you'd know,.,you're both amazing.
I appreciate that you took the time to comment,
now it will move to a new place, ( it's been standing on top of the fridge, waiting for an identity:)
Bravo Austro!
Tony.
Great find Budek!
Happy Spring and Thanks to Hunter, Scandinavian pieces, and Amber!
