So I've been on the road for awhile. I found this in a antique mall in Cincinnati, OH. I guess the dealer really need the $, she was there and gave us a great deal. The stopper is missing, so I'm doing "it's a vase" thing. I love the color.

Pretty Steuben perfume bottle in gold, signed "Aurene 3425" below the base. Height 5 1/4 inches. Shape illustrated in Frederick Carder & steuben glass, P. 256, fig. 10.146

Scruples : I've seen these often offered as vases. You could find a stopper but I think you're right to call it a vase. Beautiful classic shape.

The number on the bottom comes back as perfume bottle, Steuben made this both in goldand blue Aurene. The stopper made it onto my look for list to shop for.

Yes, the stopper is on the same list as the winning lottery ticket, but you never know.
