Just looking to get some information on this lamp. It looks like possibly nickel. It has a mogul porcelain socket. Stands 65" tall and has two figures at top and bottom. It's a torchiere lamp. There is marble at the base. Feel Free to send me any info you may have!

      Hello,
I have seen quite a few of these over the years but I am not sure I have ever noticed one with two figures. Or with a square base with marble. They often have a puddle of glass in the base and can have a nightlight with a push switch on the base.
Made in the 50s. By whom, I have no idea. They often have the very light glass shade but I have also seen them with the traditional blown out pattern shades that are white inside and an almost marigold colour on the outside. I hope this is of some use to you.
      Sincerely,
      Lisa

      Dang...
I have one similar to this...
Did you ever find the maker?

Yes, they were made in the 50's and I have only seen one other that a friend had. I wanted to buy it but never made a deal, he did not want to sell. I was buying a lot of lamps in the mid eighties as part of my business. He also had one more lamp that was similar but the figure was different.
