I bought a old Heddon Fly rod at an antique auction
It is a Heddon Premier #125 G- Bass 8 1/2 C-HCH " Made Exclusively for Sears". I believe it's a fly rod. It has the original hard and soft case
I was hoping someone could tell me what year it was made and if someone could tell me if they think it's bamboo. I would also like to know aprox what the value in today's market would be.
Any info you have would be very helpful!

Is there a reason this is posted twice? From photos, I am pretty sure no one on here will be able to tell you what this is made out of, as for approximate value, ......... see above
It's posted twice because I screwed up the 1st time and I didn't think it went through, apparently it did.......
As far as being able to tell what it's made of, I am well aware it would be hard to tell by looking at pictures. I was hoping that someone who was really familiar with Heddon rods would be able to tell me by the particular make/model that I have, if it was bamboo or not.
Thanks for your "help"
Oh, and I've already looked at the "Heddon Fishing tackle" above. My rod isn't listed on there. In fact, I cant find the EXACT rod that I have anywhere on line......
