My mother gave me this bowl several years ago. The story is this, it belonged to my step-grandfather's mother and she brought it to the states when her and her husband immigrated to the USA sometime in the 1800's from Poland. There are no markings of any kind on the bottom. The bowl is intense in it's depth and clarity. It does have superficial scratching on the inside from use.
It measure about 12 inches wide at the top and is about 5 1/2 inches high.
I have loved this bowl for so many years and am happy to have it. It is lovely filled with fruit or colored glass Christmas ornaments.
I wonder if it could be a scrying bowl.
