I am trying to find out if this signature is correct. The lady i purchased this from had told me that this woman was her friend and had painted it. I am not sure if it was signed when it was made or afterwards. Washing it doesn't affect the signature. I have no way of finding a list of any artists that may of painted these for limoges. The friend of hers that she aquired it from died in 1934 so i'm not sure of its real age. Any information would be appreciated and i thank you for that.

I continued to do my own research on this and after a few weeks i will share what i found. It is signed by the artist and the original design appeared in Keramic Studio magazine and is a stylized peacock feather.
