Yes they have been painted red at some point in life. But who can say they found 3 matching Selig Chairs in the dumpster. Yep thats right in the dumpster. I stopped at a local estate sale today, when I left I drove down the street. I pulled behind a dumpster to take a phone call...When I seen a man carry out a yellow lucite hanging lamp...and....get this....toss it in the dumpster. I hung up and rushed over, and grabbed it from sudden doom. I then ask, hey is it okay if I go through your junk..he said sure..I asked what else was headed to the dumpster and seen these chairs. I ended up grabbing these, a bunch of designer women's shoes from the 60's and tons of misc stuff. God only knows what was in the bottom of the dumpster. I just couldn't get pass all the 2x4's and bed-frames. It just goes to show, people are still tossing out this stuff we would die for. My problem is my house just isn't big enough.
