    Very old lock...Shoe Buckle...unidentified 3 inch iron with cutout for handle? Not too sure, however all seem to be Colonial, as digging colonial foundation...Very disappointing, as spent around 4 hrs digging...Do see iron pontil bottle pieces, and early pottery...Newest itenm found was a 1819 large cent. i will keep you posted.

      Wow! As a Californian, I find it unfathomable to dig up Colonial-era items. I'm lucky to find stuff from the '50s here! Maybe your dig wasn't too successful, but interesting little treasures anyway!
