Hello. I would love to see a close-up of one or two of the coins - front and back would be good. This is quite a find if the coins and chains are indeed gold. It's best to form that opinion in person. Assuming these are gold coins individually they are worth the value of gold melt. Once they have a hoop added or a hole poked through for the purpose of connecting them the coins are damaged and only worth the value of melt. Of course, the price is gold is not bad. It's up and down so best to watch. An important fact to note is that leaving the necklace intact may be the best way to sell this (to a reputable, ethical coin dealer) There are a few around :) Jewelry of this type is highly sought after. I know this post has been on here awhile so this may be too little too late. Perhaps you've sold it already for a great price! :)
