This is a collection of old dip pen nib that I pick up from an old storehouse that was demolish. I got a few thousands units and I got a special kit of architect nib used on those times to design plants.
As part of that collection I also have a pack of special Nibs called "Vasco da Gama" (Is the #11 from the top), This nib was manufactured in Portugal in the early 40's 50's and for all I know I got the last few hundred nibs from this kind. It's very beautiful with a beautiful Christ Cross.
I am not a professional collector I jut had lucky, by the age of 12/13, to stumble on thousands of nib that would go to the garbage. In that time I din't knew their value only seemed funny. I asked the storehouse owner if I could keep them and he gave me all the nibs. In fact he told me that I could keep with any think that was on the store house...
If any one has any information about those nib that I have, please, fell free to report.
Regards... PL
