Had this for 35 years or more handed down so it's probably more like 70 going on 100 years old. Truth is I don't know. No obvious markings, nothing at all on the net. If anyone can give me any pointers It'd be much appreciated. It's approx 5 x5 x3 inches. Thought it might be a medicine bottle but again I can't find anything.

    Many thanks

What a lovely design, not to mention color! :-) I have a couple that are similar in design but are more the pale green color of older canning jars. Frequently, but not always this dark cobalt color was used for poisons or other harmful contents, especially by druggists/apothocaries.
