Albert, I have been doing research on Czech art glass shades and have traced several types to their original manufacturers by matching them with identified vases. For me, the key words are on your first page: "verreria importata direttamente dalle Fabbriche Boeme et Tedesche." IKn other words: German/Bohemian (Czech) shades! Check out Williamson Teplitz Shades Catalogs.
That's Right Alfredo . Every Shades and globes made in cut glass come from Bohemia/Germany . Where i can find image from Williamson Teplitz Shade Catalog ?
Grazie .
Alberto
Ciao Alberto.
Many thanks for these pages and for the others from the Dorizon catalogue.
This catalogue looks to be really large.
The Fondazione Neri has a 1929 copy that has 159 pages.
Who were Garrone & Debernardi?
"Forniture Elettriche"? Are there links to ERG Power & Gas?
I see too that they sold Cannucce di Boemia. These are glass straws for drinking, no? They were ridged ( rigate: like pasta 'penne rigate') and came in white and colours. 100 white one were 16 Lire and 100 coloured ones were 24 Lire. Amazing!
I wonder if anyone has any of them?
Alberto, write me at
alfavil@aol.com
And look at my website
http://sites.google.com/site/loetzandglass/Home/
Also look at my postings here, under "Alfredo"--there are several shades. i own several Williamson catalogs. here in the USA most of these shades are routinely sold as "Loetz". And they are not.
Hi Vetraio
Garrone & Debernardi was a dealer of electric forniture ( Lamps , Cable , interruttori , indistrial staff ... ) Not like ERG or AGIP . but small dealer from Torino and Piedmont .
- Cannucce are those in use with "Arat-Jour" all together make a "Frangia"
I show better in this link : http://www.ebay.it/itm/LAMPADARIO-STILE-LIBERTY-DELL-800-/120880286182?pt=Arredamento_d_antiquariato&hash=item1c2506c9e6
There are "Rigate" ( like pasta ) in opaline - Coloured ( very Rare ) I make a chandelier one time with Ruby-cannucce and Murano drops (AMAZING).
Se ai altre domande chiedimi pure , sono contento di poter condividere la mia passione con chiunque di questo sito .
** Ho scritto in Inglese prima per poter far comprendere a tutti la spiegazione .
