Inside: Bluebird
Bottom: Farrington, Made in Canada
This is the only vintage ring box in my current collection that is made in Canada. The material is not celluloid/plastic, but not a heavy metal either...perhaps tin or aluminum. A patina has developed on the exterior as well as interior. The silk on the top interior is emblazoned with Bluebird. You will also notice that the interior tin/aluminum base is also decorated with Bluebird as well as tiny arrows and dots. The ring pad is a deep royal blue, almost purple that does not translate well on computer monitors. The hinges still snap open and shut very well. Overall, a very delightful ring box.
