Hello I was wondering if anyone might know anything about these vases.
The first I am not even positive if it is czech glass(metal is made by meriden in conneticut). The second vase I think may be Kralik-giraffe, but I am not positive.
They don't look that great together, but separately I really like the shape and color of them.
Thanks

Crazy....the pattern of the second piece is kralik but the piece is Welz!
Hi Ks85, A question from Justanovice!! -- So,, it is the shape of the second piece that is Welz and the pattern kralik? Did Welz just use the pattern of Kralik or was there collaboration between the two? I hope that does not sound ludicrous but I really do not have any historical information about these two glass makers!! :-)
Thanks in advance Ks85!
Hi Justanovice. Yes, the shape is a known Welz shape but the pattern was made most often by Kralik....at least from what I understand.
No idea if any companies worked together or who was the first to do it, sorry.
