I was hoping for some help with identifying this piece better. Possibly narrow time a year and possible value. My husband found it in an old barn on a property we own. These pictures were taken before I did any cleaning or polishing so you can only imagine how beautiful it will be with a little work! I found many very similar to this one on line but none exactly the same. The difference seems to be the green emblem on this one. It is a 2 1/2 gallon; 24 1/2" tall with a 7" circumference. The Model is CA and it says No 266080 as well as 5 different patent numbers. There is also a cylinder inside that also has a cap on it. There are a some dings and scratches but nothing major. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! ?

Hopefuly you will find the years and designer.
These make nice display or lamps but don't have much value, they were produced in the thousands and used very little, they weere also cared for and serviced regularly so a lot of them still exist, the bottle on the inside held ACID so be careful when you handle it. Like I said cleaned and shined they are great for display or put the guts in it and it makes a neat lamp....
The inside cylinder is filled with one substance and the body filled with another. When it is turned upside down to be used the lead cap falls off and the 2 mix and pressurize and come out of the hose. There should be a handle going across the bottom. One hand on that the other on the hose. The recipe is probably on the can.
