I picked these up recently as a BIN QUINLAN. These are from Harris High School, in Mitchell County, from The Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Marion, NC. One is from the 1941-42 year (7th grade) and the other is from the 1942-43 year (8th grade) for student: Lee Ray Biddiy (wondering if he's still around now).

You don't see too many of these floating around. Book-valued at around $85 each.

Lee Roy had great attendance, Wow! Those are sweet Ray. The way Coca-Cola marketed to kids and parents through schools was an interesting gimmick, and some of the old school stuff like this is really nice. War Years report cards, not seen one before. Those will look great with your other ephemera, really nice.

You're right Bernie. Good eye. His name was Lee Ray Biddix and he just died on December 17, 2011, at age 83. :(

Amazing to be able to make that connection! Lee Ray never could have imagined when those cards were sent home, as a young boy in school during WWII years, that some day a bunch of Coca-Cola collectibles fanatics would be conversing about them over fiber-optic cables, connected by a visual, audible, data based medium called the internet, which links just about everyone and all the information in the world!!! Mind Blower, Man!!!! :)
