Hello,
I've had this plate for 10-12 years, it surfaces from time to time and I fall in love with it all over again.
It's 10 1/2 inches in diameter, has a bowl-like edge, is made of a coarse clay, ( may be considered raku ), and the glaze is just beautiful.
The free painted design is so rich in style and color.
It's signed , but I can't make it out at all,( I'm usually pretty good at that ).
I was hoping someone might recognize the style of it or have a better eye for the signature.
