Well, Radio Corporation of America is better known as RCA. It looks to be a combination short-wave and broadcast radio. I'm definitely not a radio expert, but it looks to be from the WWII era.

Nice set! I'd say from the waterfall style cabinet and the magic eye tube that this is from the late 1930s. Can you see all the tubes? How many are there and can you read any of the numbers on them?

    Hello Bobber
The tubes are 6a7,6d6,75,43,25z5,L42b,and6g5.The Schematic on the bottom of the radio is 90% gone. There is a Model number Stamped on the bottom 249 and also a stamp that says G7.Would like to rebuild it if i can find a Schematic.I Searched all the Radio,s on Radioattick.com and found a silver 146 with a simaler Dial,so it may be made by that group in Chicago in the mid 30,s.Thanks for looking and i will keep searching.

    brown599,
You can search Radio Museum by the tube lineup of the set. When I did I got this one - http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/radolek_17530.html - but the case is very different. The resistor tube L42B wasn't made until 1935 so your set was put together after that. Sorry I couldn't find it for you!
