Andy Gibb
Posted by Phil Morris
Andy’s first single released outside Australia, was "I Just Want to Be Your Everything", at the time and for a while he was more popular and sold more records than the Bee Gees.
I photographed him in 1978, he was receiving his first gold record and I was there first. His managers sent him out with me and we went out for a drink, he was nice and asked me about my new camera, which I loved. I was allowed on stage to do the photographs and got some great close ups also. Photos for PolyGram records.
Andy Gibb (5 March 1958 – 10 March 1988) was an English singer and teen idol, and the youngest brother of the Bee Gees: Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb.

That was a sad ending to such a young singer . He seemed like such a down to earth type of guy. Great Photo Phil ! You sure have traveled the world . Thanks for sharing this one . I sure remember him and I think I have a LP or 2 by him yet :-)
Thanks everyone for the nice comments and all who like this photo. We had something in common, we both were so young at the time. Those were the best of times, being young.
I just posted my Andy Gibbs old 8 track Phil :-)
Andy Gibbs from bee gees Saturday night fever ! Wow !! Excellent . I like it : - )))
Great picture, great memories . I remember the disco era well...I worked as a coat check at a hot Long Island club. It was late 70 early 80s. . The music, the beautiful people..Cherry Grove, The Pines....I had the best time of my life and have no regrets. ..I do miss being young and carefree
Those were great times and being young is the best of anything, thanks Geno !~
