That is a JFO#F-35, style opener/ice pick. It should be marked ?A. W. STEPHENS MFG. CO. WALTHAM, MASS. PAT. APR. 30, 1901
The only two listed in the Just For Openers guide book are marked, (1)- DRINK AMERICAN BEER PHONE 6122.
& (2) PICK [???] FOR YOUR WINES & LIQUORS IROQUOIS BEER & STANDARD ALE 532 N. MAIN STREET ELMIRA, N. Y.
"Old German Lager" named beer, was used by about six breweries over the years, but I see none with the name ending in "D".
Yours would be a unlisted or unknown opener. If you could read enough to establish it as an American brewery/beer item, you may have the only one known of.
This style openers/ice pick list for between $50 and $75, so it is worth hanging on to.
Hope this helps,
Lumpy
Thanks Lumpy,I looked closer and I think what I thaught was a D is a O it looks like it might be FRESNO BREWING CO.
I found Fresno Brewing Co., which is old enough, but "Old German Lager" is not showing as one of their brews.
Check this out; http://www.taverntrove.com/brewery.php?BreweryId=516
If thats what it is, it is an unlisted opener.
